This is a perfect project to use a panel or a fabric you love! Count the grandchildren, because that's how many you'll have to make. This sham fits a king sized pillow, you may even want one for yourself!
This is a sewing and social club. Bring your hand work, sew a binding, or do some applique, maybe even knit a rug. We'll enjoy our handwork and sometimes, even a cookie. This class is currently full, call us to be added to the wait list.
This is just one way to use a panel. You'll plan it out, cut into strips and reassemble in an artful way. Make it an artful wall hanging or perfect for a couch quilt.
Each person will plan their own project. We'll draft the blocks on graph paper, shade the pieces in and plan a layout. You'll learn how to calculate yardage for the blocks, for the sashing and borders. We'll play with mitered borders and also continuous bias binding.
Learn what you need to know about threads, stabilizers and embroidery in general. This is a good place to start if you have a new embroidery machine or if you have a machine still in the box.... pull it out and c'mon in for some fun learning. You'll learn how to stitch designs from your machine as well as imported designs, how to stabilize and how to finish nicely.
This class is complimentary if you purchased your serger at QC! The class will provide an overview of your BabyLock serger including changing the needles, basic stitches and settings. This is a first step to get you feeling confident with your serger.
If you have some experience with basic free motion quilting and are ready and eager to move on to the next level, this class is for you. These techniques can be used for domestic and long arm machines. Choose your flower panel and your threads and Yvette will show you how to make it wonderful.
Make this cute quilt for the bird lover in your life. Techniques include both piecing and appliqué. Carrie will show you how to piece the birdhouses and satin stitch appliqué for the birds, leaves and stems. You may choose chenille for the branches as Carrie did, wide rick rack or even appliqué.
We'll work on a portion each week and put it all together at the end. Each week there will be planning to do and blocks to make. It's a big project that will be fun and easy to accomplish when it's planned out a bit at a time. Plan your colour scheme and get ready for some fun!
This is a monthly club. Learn about lots of different ways to use your string blocks. Bring your scrap basket and dip into Sue's scrap basket as well. Spread out and enjoy sewing fun things with like-minded sewists.

We have a fantastic Learn to Quilt class, and we have a new quilt to learn. You'll make a quilt top, sandwich it and quilt it. You'll finish off with a beautiful binding. The class covers accurate cutting, perfect piecing and squaring up, machine quilting and beautiful finishing. After you take this class, you can proceed with confidence to our other "Confident Beginner" classes.
