Techniques we will learn:
- Cutting with a rotary cutter and ruler
- Piecing with a 1/4” seam
- Quilting
Make sure to pick out your fabrics before the first day of class. It is recommended to wash your fabrics.

Materials are not included in the class fee. Please make sure to bring the following to class.

Front of stocking (You may choose to do patchwork or whole cloth - one piece of fabric)
- Patchwork: a variety of 3" squares (you may bring strips of fabric that we can cut into squares together)
- Whole cloth: half metre (if you choose whole cloth you do not need a fabric backing)
- Fabric for backing: half metre
- Lining fabric: half a metre
- Cuff and hanging loop fabric: 6”
- Quilter's Grid: 0.40metre
- Batting (2 pieces) approx. 18” x 24”
- Thread for piecing and quilting

If you have any basic sewing supplies, please bring the following: (If you are new to sewing, I will have some extra supplies available to borrow. You may also decide to purchase your own supplies from QC
- Marking pen/pencil that is removable by water, heat or air
- seam ripper
- fabric scissors
- pins
- clips
- Rotary cutter and cutting mat
- walking/quilting foot
- 1/4” piecing foot

Cancellation policy: If we cancel the class, we refund your fee. If you cancel out of a class 7 days or more before the class, we refund your class fee. After that time, the fee is non-refundable.
