Get more out of your Baby Lock serger and use it confidently in everyday sewing. This class will make you fall in love with your serger.

What you'll learn:

  • Threading and re-threading with confidence
  • Tension control and stitch adjustment
  • Understanding 3-thread vs 4-thread stitches
  • How to produce a rolled edge and flat lock-stitch
  • Troubleshooting skipped/poor stitches and uneven edges.

Class Requirements:

  • Bring your Baby Lock serger in good working order. Bring your machine's manual or download a copy available online.
  • Power cord, foot pedal and standard accessories. As well as thread snips, tweezer, fabric sealant, fabric marking pen. 
  • Take the time to know how to thread your machine (Youtube is a great resource for tutorials)
  • All threads installed on your machine (4 different colours is very helpful)
  • Bring small scraps of fabric for practice
