Scanning Frame - Embroidery

Level: Must meet machine requirements.

This class is all about using the scanning frame for your embroidery machine. This is a beginner course. We will be focusing on line designs for this class. 

Machine Requirements:

• • Baby Lock Machines with IQ Designer: Destiny 1,2, Solaris 1, 2, 3
  • Brother Machines with My Design Center: The Dream Machine (XV8500D, XV8550D), Luminaire 1, 2, 3

Supplies Required:

• Scanning frame and magnets
• Machine and embroidery arm
• Machine manual (Make sure you can find the scanning portion)
• Notebook for note-taking 
• Several coordinating threads (we will do some practice stitching)
• Largest embroidery hoop size
• Background fabric to fit hoop (something like a white, cream, light grey to keep the focus on the embroidery)
• Stabilizer to fit embroidery hoop 
  • This is just practice so don't stress too much on which stabilizer to bring
